1) You send a very time-critical email, then a few minutes later you receive it because you replied to yourself instead.
2) You send the email to the Mike A instead of Mike B( and have to deal with the awkwardness that ensues)
3) You hit reply all and (annoy pretty much everyone else).
It is costly and in the long run, diminishes your productivity. But we are human and these mistakes do happen (I might be leading on that count..;)). In the spirit of productivity I have made an addin that double checks your recipients in one click.
